About Joy Styles

Leadership with Accountability. Results with Integrity.

Councilwoman Joy Styles is a leader who doesn’t just show up—she delivers. With over six years of dedicated service to District 32, Joy has earned a reputation as Nashville’s most relentless advocate for accountability. From revitalizing the former Starwood site and bringing major developments like Tanger and Popstroke to Antioch, to championing the Sexual Assault Center’s Safe Bar program as Chair of the Women’s Caucus, her record is defined by tangible results. A proud graduate of Wellesley College and Purdue University, Joy bridges corporate precision with a servant’s heart. She is running for Mayor to scale the successes of her district to the entire city, ensuring that Nashville’s growth never comes at the expense of its neighborhoods, its creative community, or its most vulnerable residents.

"I did not run to take pictures... I ran to actually get things done."
