<p>As the only council member who has been a full time artist, Joy is a strong advocate for the arts in Nashville. She believes that a vibrant arts scene enriches our community, stimulates creativity, and drives economic growth. Her passion led her to sponsor the creation of the Nashville Entertainment Commission in 2023.</p>

By providing high-quality, accessible care for the employees who keep our city running, we create a model for the entire county—prioritizing the people who serve us while investing in the future of our next generation.
